Biography

Rebecca joined the Firm as a Trainee Advocate at GVZH Advocates in March 2024. She has a keen interest in Corporate Law, Financial Services Legislation and Maritime Law.

Education & Court Admissions

Rebecca graduated from the University of Malta with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree in 2022 after submitting the dissertation entitled: ‘Ship Registration Under International Law – An Analysis of International Efforts Aimed at Combating Fraudulent Registration’. She was awarded the Malta Maritime Forum Annual Award for the best dissertation on a shipping / maritime law subject in the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) course, a prize awarded during the Dean’s Awards Ceremony of 2022. She also completed her Master of Advocacy in September 2023.

Languages

Rebecca is fluent in both Maltese and English and has a basic understanding of Spanish.
