Biography

Rebecca LaRocque is the founder of LaRocque Law, a family law firm in Chicago's West Loop. She represents clients in divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities and parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, property division, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and post-decree enforcement and modification, primarily in Cook County and the surrounding counties.

She earned her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and her undergraduate degree from Villanova University, where she picked up a lifelong loyalty to the Wildcats. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and North Carolina and has spent her entire legal career in family law.

Rebecca writes regularly about Illinois family law, with a particular interest in where the rules on paper meet real families.
