Biography

Rebecca L.Silinski has devoted her career to pursuing justice for those who have been harmed. She brings extensive litigation and trial experience, as well as years of leading complex federal investigations as a former federal prosecutor, to her practice at Morgan & Morgan.Before joining the firm, Ms.Silinski served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania. She worked with federal, state, and local law enforcement to investigate and prosecute violations of federal law, including child exploitation, human trafficking, narcotics and firearms violations, immigration crimes, money laundering, fraud, bank and commercial robberies, and national security matters. Ms. Silinski also served as the District’s human trafficking prosecutions coordinator. In this role, she prosecuted the first adult sex trafficking cases in the District.Earlier in her career, Ms.Silinski worked in private practice, gaining experience in criminal defense, civil litigation, Title IX investigations, and sports law, including MLBPA arbitration.Ms. Silinski is a graduate of Duquesne University School of Law where she was a member of Duquesne's nationally recognized Trial Advocacy Program and earned several honors, including the Katie Elisabeth Westbrook Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy, the Shalom Moot Court Award, Dr. John E. Murray Award for Outstanding Writing and inducted as a National Member of the Order of Barristers.Before law school, Ms.Silinski earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Vanderbilt University where she was a four-year letter winner for the Commodores’ Women’s Basketball program and on a full-ride athletic scholarship. She was a member of four NCAA Tournament teams, including two Sweet Sixteen appearances, and the 2009 SEC Championship team.Ms.Silinski now leverages her prior experiences to fight for injury victims and their families and guide them through some of the most difficult moments of their lives
