Biography

Attorney Regina M. Brown graduated from Beaver Falls High School in 1996. She then attended Slippery Rock University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and was a member of Phi Sigma Pi, National Honor Society. Ms. Brown went on to earn her Juris Doctor in 2003 from Duquesne University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Brown participated in the University’s Law Clinic where she completed an internship with Neighborhood Legal Services, who offered free legal assistance to those in need. During her third year of law school, she was offered a paid internship at the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

Upon graduating and passing the bar exam in 2003, Ms. Brown began her legal career as a law clerk for Judge George E. James in the Court of Common Pleas of Beaver County. She worked in that capacity for two years and then relocated to York, Pennsylvania, where she began practicing as an Assistant Public Defender. In 2006, Ms. Brown was given the opportunity to practice as an Assistant Public Defender in Allegheny County where she practiced for ten years.

Over the course of her career, she acquired extensive courtroom experience that included jury trials and non-jury trials. In 2014, Ms. Brown was promoted to the position of Pre-Trial Division Manager where she remained until coming to Berger and Green, P.C. in October of 2016.

Attorney Brown is a Social Security Disability Attorney at Berger and Green, P.C., where she represents individuals in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia in Social Security Disability (SSD) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) cases. Ms. Brown has focused her entire career on helping people who find themselves in need of an attorney. She is sensitive to their situations and understands how important her role is in helping her clients.

Attorney Brown is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives (NOSSCR) and the Allegheny County Bar Association (ACBA) where she is a member of the Homer S. Brown Association and the Women in the Law Division. She is licensed to practice in all Pennsylvania State and Federal Courts and in all Social Security Courts throughout the United States.

Ms. Brown always wanted to be an attorney, she wanted to fight for those in need. Attorney Brown takes great pleasure in knowing that because of her hard work and dedication, someone will have effective representation. Attorney Brown is a well-prepared and dedicated attorney. Attorney Brown in the proud parent of three sons, Torian, Jarett and Derek. She enjoys reading and spending quality time with her sons.
