Reid DeChant

Mr. DeChant practices criminal defense with expertise in DUI/DWAI, vehicular assault, and vehicular homicides. He will go above and beyond to listen to your story and take your story to trial, no matter the allegations. He was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona where he obtained a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice at Arizona State University. He moved to Denver, Colorado where he attended University of Denver for law school. While in law school, he began honing his trial advocacy skills with the National Trial Team. Mr. DeChant continued practicing trial advocacy and client focused representation at the Colorado Public Defender’s Office in both Denver and Brighton where he found his calling defending the accused. He is willing to take any case to trial if a favorable disposition is unobtainable. He has focused his career on trial advocacy by regularly attending trial advocacy trainings around the country to ensure he has the most effective set of tools at his disposal. Having these skills in your back pocket is priceless. Mr. DeChant understands that most clients come to him at the lowest points in their life.
