Bio:

Having grown up in Rapid City, Reid has deep roots in the Black Hills community. After graduating from Stevens High School, he attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he majored in Finance and minored in Economics and Business and Law. While at UNL, Reid studied abroad at Oxford University, England, in the summer of 2018, where he broadened his educational and cultural knowledge and completed his minor in Economics. Reid then returned home for law school and attended the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law, where he served as a student ambassador.

After his second year of law school, Reid worked as a summer intern at Bangs McCullen. Following law school, he completed a two-year judicial clerkship with the Seventh Judicial Circuit of South Dakota. That experience provided Reid with a strong foundation in legal research, writing, and a desire to help people navigate the legal system. Reid joined Bangs McCullen as an associate attorney in August of 2025.

Reid’s primary practice areas are family law and civil litigation.

Reid resides in Rapid City with his wife and dog. Outside the office, Reid enjoys hiking in the Black Hills, golfing, and cheering on the Chicago Bears and Cubs.
