Reshma is a partner at Shibley Righton LLP. She is an
experienced employment and estates lawyer with a focus on dispute resolution,
strategic litigation and risk mitigation. Reshma has expertise in advising
diverse clients on compliance and risk management, advocacy strategies, and
practical problem solving approaches. Reshma has represented clients in various
levels of court including the Federal Court of Canada, the Ontario Court of
Appeal, the Divisional Court, and the Superior Court of Justice.
Reshma’s employment practice focuses on advising employers
on diverse business transactions, employment agreements, workplace disputes,
compliance, statutory and common law obligations, terminations, human resources
policies and procedures. Reshma also has valuable experience in advising
employees on their rights and entitlements on termination and with respect to
their employment contracts. She expertly navigates clients through contract
negotiation, termination conduct, employment standards compliance, workplace
investigations, occupational health and safety issues, and litigation, if

Reshma’s estates practice focuses on estate administration
and estate litigation. Reshma advises attorneys, executors, and beneficiaries
on diverse estate related matters. She has respected experience in estate
related matters including probate applications, dependant relief claims, will
challenges, guardianship applications, passing of accounts, as well as capacity
and attorneyship disputes in Ontario. Reshma expertly navigates clients through
complex estate matters with sensitivity and caution as she tailors dispute
resolution and advocacy strategies to address dynamic issues.
