Biography

Reza Torkzadeh is a California accident and personal injury lawyer who represents victims and families of serious injury and wrongful death cases Nationwide.

In 2015, Reza was the recipient of the BestLawyers and SuperLawyers awards. In 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, Reza was named on the Los Angeles Magazine Top 40 Under 40 Up and Coming Lawyers list and National Trial Lawyers list.

In 2015 as part of the Plaintiffs Settlement Committee on a nationwide litigation involving an FDA recalled medical device, Reza played an integral part in negotiating a $14.5 million dollar settlement on behalf of the plaintiffs.

In 2014, Reza represented a pedestrian struck in a crosswalk. A jury verdict was obtained in the amount of $26 million dollars. That verdict was one of the largest personal injury verdicts in the country and largest recorded judgment in California for 2014.

Reza is the co-author of the popular book Accidents Happen But Who's Going to Pay the Bills? A Consumers Guide to the California personal injury and wrongful death system.

Reza is the founder of The Torkzadeh Law Firm; a plaintiffs only law practice.
