Biography

Based in Cooper Levenson’s Atlantic City office, Richard DeLucry, Of Counsel, focuses his practice on land use, real estate, and regulatory law. He represents developers and businesses in matters involving land use approvals, real estate transactions, redevelopment projects, and related litigation.

Practice Highlights:

Rick has extensive experience guiding clients through zoning and regulatory approvals for large-scale commercial and residential developments, including The Quarter at Tropicana, The Pier Shops at Caesars, and Absecon Gardens Condominiums.

He previously served as Assistant City Solicitor for Atlantic City, where he advised the Planning, Tax, and Code Enforcement departments and represented the City as defense counsel in a range of litigation matters. Rick has also served as counsel to the Atlantic County Improvement Authority and has advised numerous governmental bodies and agencies on a wide variety of issues.

Since 2011, Rick has served as a member of the City Council in his hometown of Brigantine.
