Richard Crane represents defendants in a variety of complex tort and personal injury litigation matters, including premises liability matters, motor vehicle accidents, and other personal injury actions.

Richard Crane represents defendants in a variety of complex tort and personal injury litigation matters, including premises liability matters, motor vehicle accidents, and other personal injury actions. Before joining Margolis Edelstein, Richard worked for the New Jersey State Legislature’s Office of Legislative Services, where he drafted legislation, legal opinions, and memoranda on behalf of elected members of the New Jersey State Legislature and served as committee aide to the Senate Community and Urban Affairs Committee. Richard has extensive dispute resolution and mediation experience, having mediated more than 750 settlement conferences while working as a Law Clerk & Landlord Tenant Legal Specialist for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean Vicinage, as part of the judiciary’s efforts to reduce a backlog exceeding 50,000 landlord-tenant matters as of June 2021 following the COVID-19 pandemic. During law school, Richard developed a passion for client advocacy, where his moot court team advanced to the quarterfinals of the August A. Rendigs, Jr. National Products Liability Moot Court Competition. Richard also served as Vice President to the Student Bar Association.
