Biography

Richard J. Roselli is a highly respected trial lawyer with a nationwide reputation. He is a founding partner of Roselli & McNelis, P.A., in Boca Raton, Florida, which is recognized by U. S. News - as a Tier One Best Law Firm. Richard has dedicated his entire professional career of over 40 years to the Representation of the Injured & Their Families, in cases of serious Personal Injury, Wrongful Death and Medical Malpractice. Richard has been recognized by the prestigious peer reviewed publication The Best Lawyers in America for over 20 years, in the areas of Personal Injury Litigation, and Medical Malpractice. In 1996, Richard was elected President of the Florida Justice Association. Richard has been Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by The Florida Bar for over 20 years. During his career, he has represented clients as lead counsel in many States, and has had the honor of representing several Foreign Countries on litigation teams against the tobacco industry. As a pioneer in his profession, he is frequently sought out as a speaker to trial lawyers, medical providers, and at medical and law schools. Notably, he presented at the Institute of Medicine at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C., for the development of the published book, To Err is Human, relating to reducing medical malpractice errors. Presently he has the pleasure of working with his son, Nick Roselli, a partner in the firm, as well as his wife and law partner, Lisa McNelis. Richard had been actively involved in the community for many years, serving on the Board of Advisors at St. John Paul II Academy for 8 years. With a passion for all sports, Rick was also travel team baseball coach for over 12 years. He is very proud of his 5 children, who now are all doctors and lawyers, and have blessed him with 9 grandchildren.
