Dedication to his clients, focused determination, and compassion have been the hallmarks of Attorney Richard LaBrecque’s career as an attorney. He is dedicated to pursuing justice through zealous advocacy, attention to the details of each individual case, and his strong sense of empathy for each injured client, all of which drive his desire to secure maximum compensation for his clients. Prior to joining the Carter Mario Law Firm, Attorney LaBrecque was a partner in a mid-sized general practice law firm in Waterbury, Connecticut where he gained experience in many areas of the law before ultimately heading the firm’s personal injury, workers’ compensation, and social security disability practices. Attorney LaBrecque is experienced in guiding his clients through all stages of litigation, including trials by jury or to the Court, and has argued appeals before the Compensation Review Board, Appellate Court, and Supreme Court. Now, he specializes in the field of Personal Injury, including complex litigation matters. Attorney LaBrecque earned his JD from the University of Connecticut’s School of Law after completing his BA in Political Science at the University of Connecticut on a full academic scholarship. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Connecticut. When he is not advocating for his clients, Attorney LaBrecque proudly gives back to his community. Most recently, he coached his son’s youth basketball team and has served on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Waterbury, the Waterbury Charter Revision Commission, the Waterbury City Plan Commission, and the Waterbury Bar Association. Attorney LaBrecque is a Waterbury native but recently moved to Cheshire with his wife and two sons. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and exploring his new hometown of Cheshire. Attorney LaBrecque is dedicated to helping people stand up to big corporations and takes pride in his role as protector of the injured in his community.
