Biography

Dick is a native of Toledo, Ohio, a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, and has been practicing law in Toledo since graduating from the University Of Toledo College Of Law in 1977. Dick’s experience is extensive in both transactional work and dispute resolution associated with real estate matters, business contracts and relationships, employment contracts and issues, and personal injury claims. For over 30 years, Dick has served as national counsel responsible for the management and trial of asbestos claims throughout the United States on behalf of a manufacturer of industrial equipment.

Dick is known for his longstanding involvement in the Toledo legal community, having previously served as a member of the Board of Directors and as the President of the Toledo Bar Association. Dick and his wife Kate are the parents of four, three of whom have successful careers in the legal profession, while the youngest tolerates the lawyers. Dick and Kate are also the proud grandparents of fifteen. Dick is proud of his happy, healthy and successful family, and is proud to call Toledo his home.
