Richard "Rick" C. Beale

Rick is a partner in the Lending & Structured Finance and Financial Institutions sections of the firm. He has extensive experience in the representation of a broad spectrum of lending institutions in the areas of asset-based lending, real estate finance, government contractor financing, aircraft financing, workouts, foreclosures, creditors' rights, collateral recovery, lender liability, dealer finance, vessel mortgages, and wealth management transactions.

He also represents local, regional and national companies in connection with commercial business matters relating to finance, real estate, leasing, franchising and the sale or purchase of businesses.

Representative Experience

· Represented a multi-state bank in a credit in excess of $150,000,000 for multi-use commercial property.

· Represented a multi-state bank in $50,000,000 asset-based loan to US affiliate of international company secured by accounts, perishable commodity inventory and internationally registered trademarks.

· Represented an international government contractor in modification and restructure of $200,000,000 syndicated revolving credit and term loan facility.

· Represented a national lender in workout involving multi-franchise motor vehicle dealer floor plan.

· Represented a national bank in a financing involving the acquisition of multiple automobile dealerships.

· Represented a local company in the acquisition and financing of commercial aircraft as well as negotiation of aircraft charter agreement.

· Represented a national bank in numerous acquisition, development and construction loans for regional building corporations.

· Represented a national bank in a nationwide credit program to private banking customers secured by brokerage accounts.
