Biography

Mr. Hawthorne focuses on real estate transactions representing buyers and sellers in commercial real estate transactions, landlords and tenants in commercial leasing and developers of multifamily housing and retail developments. He also has significant experience representing buyers and sellers of debt obligations.

Mr. Hawthorne is currently serving as Vice-Chair on the Board of Trustees for the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Community Hospice and Palliative Care and Beaches Habitat for Humanity. He was a member of the University of Florida Law Review and the Order of the Coif. He has been named to Florida Trend’s Legal Elite for the last several years and has been recognized as in Jacksonville magazine as one of Jacksonville’s Top Lawyers. Mr. Hawthorne has been selected for inclusion since 2016 in Best Lawyers in America in the practice area of Real Estate Law.
