Biography

Rick Whitworth graduated from Creighton University School of Law and was admitted to the Nebraska State Bar in 1993. Rick spent the majority of his legal career in private practice in Sarpy County, Nebraska. Rick represents clients in a variety of cases including: divorce, custody and support, adoptions, guardianship and conservatorship, estate planning and probate, business entity formation, and general civil litigation. Rick is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts and has represented clients across the eastern part of the state in Sarpy, Douglas, Cass, Otoe, Richardson, Lancaster, Washington, Burt, Thurston, Saunders, and Hamilton counties as well as the federal courts in both Omaha and Lincoln. Prior to attending law school, Rick spent eleven years in public education as an English teacher and coach after graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1978. Rick enjoys working with people and helping them resolve their problems.
