Biography

Richard Wolf is a Partner at Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP, where his responsibilities are concentrated within the Firm’s Appellate practice group. His extensive experience with appellate matters reflects not only his exceptional analytic skills, but highly developed research, communications, and writing skills as well.

Richard was a Senior Associate at the firm before his promotion to Partner. Prior to joining MCB, Richard worked as a Senior Appellate Court Attorney at the Second Department of the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division. There, he performed legal research on civil, criminal, family, and administrative law topics and analyzed legal arguments and appellate records. Earlier legal experience included work in all facets of commercial litigation, as well as white-collar criminal defense cases.

Richard received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Fairfield University in 2012, making Dean’s List and receiving a Dean’s Scholarship. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2015, making Dean’s List, serving as Senior Associate Editor for the Hofstra Law Review, and graduating in the top 3 percent of his class. Richard is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
