Biography

Riley is an associate in the firm’s mass tort, toxic tort, and products liability practice groups, where he supports clients in navigating complex litigation matters. He brings experience from both judicial and government settings, helping clients approach cases with a practical and well-informed perspective.

Before joining Meagher + Geer, Riley served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Sophia Y. Vuelo of the Ramsey County District Court, where he gained insight into judicial decision-making and case management.

Riley earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of North Dakota School of Law. During law school, he was active in the Canadian Law Students Society and the Sports Law Students Association, and received several scholarships, including the Merit Scholarship, Heck Family School of Law Scholarship, and the Adrian McLellan Memorial Law Scholarship. He also externed with the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office Statewide Expungement Program.

Riley earned his B.A. in Criminology from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada.

Outside of the office, Riley enjoys playing hockey, golfing, exercising, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
