Biography

Robert “Rob” Machate is an Associate at Robert Allen Law and practices in the Yacht Transaction and Litigation departments at the firm. Rob grew up around the water in South Florida and has been around yachts nearly all his life. Prior to the joining the firm, Rob served as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in and for Palm Beach County. While at the State Attorney’s Office, Rob prosecuted thousands of cases and tried approximately 25 jury trials. Rob also worked in the West Palm Beach Office of a national law firm where he practiced in their commercial litigation department.

Since joining Robert Allen Law, Rob has gained extensive experience in representing a wide array of clients in the yachting industry, including buyers, sellers, brokerages, manufacturers, dealers, and banking institutions.
