Biography

Mr. Wiesen is an “AV” rated lawyer - the highest rating by Martindale-Hubbell for legal ability and professional ethics. He has dedicated his career to representing management in all areas of labor and employment law, including labor relations, collective bargaining, arbitration, union elections, unfair labor practices, litigation, employment discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour compliance, personnel policy review and development, management training, employment agreements, executive compensation, severance agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, and business acquisitions, reorganizations and divestitures.

At the beginning of his career, Mr. Wiesen served as an attorney and trial specialist with the National Labor Relations Board, from which he received two Sustained Superior Performance Awards issued by the NLRB’s General Counsel.

Mr. Wiesen has repeatedly been selected as a Metro New York Area “Super Lawyer,” and for many years, he has been a Contributing Editor to The Developing Labor Law, the preeminent labor law treatise published by Bloomberg Law and the American Bar Association’s Section of Labor and Employment Law.
