Robert Butler

Robert Butler, founder of RTBLaw, LLC, brings over three decades of legal experience to his clients. Admitted to the Ohio State and Federal Bar in 1990 after earning his law degree from the University of Wyoming, Rob quickly established a reputation for integrity and dedication. He began his career at Donnellon, Donnellon, and Miller, where he built a diverse practice spanning personal injury, family law, estate planning, probate, criminal defense, and litigation—successfully handling both bench and jury trials. As the Solicitor for the Village of Golf Manor, Rob manages prosecutorial duties, contract negotiations, and legislative drafting, demonstrating his versatility in municipal law. He is committed to approachable, client-focused service and values the long-standing relationships he has built over his career. Rob is also a proud veteran, having served as an Army medic and helicopter medic during Operation Desert Storm, earning multiple commendations. Active in local bar associations and community leadership, he is known for his accessible, compassionate approach to legal counsel. Outside the office, Rob enjoys time with his family, coaching soccer, and pursuing interests in reading, writing, and travel.
