Robert Ian Mandell

Robert Mandell has spent more than 20 years defending people charged with crimes in Florida state and federal courts. Known across Central Florida for an aggressive, proactive style, Rob is a member of the National Trial Association’s Top 100 Trial Attorneys and Top 40 Under 40. His approach is consistent no matter the charge, whether it’s a first-time DUI or a first-degree murder case, he prepares to attack the government’s evidence and push back hard from day one. At Mandell Law, Rob leads a team of attorneys and paralegals who take a true team approach, regularly bringing in private investigators and forensic experts to build the strongest defense possible. Rob was born and raised in New York City and attended John Jay College of Criminal Justice, graduating cum laude and staying active in student government. He earned his law degree at the University of Miami School of Law, where he gained valuable experience clerked at Bierman, Shohat, Loewy and Klein, P.A., and learned from nationally respected defense lawyer Roy Black. After serving as an Assistant Public Defender in the Ninth Judicial Circuit, Rob entered private practice in 2007 and has become a trusted choice for professionals and everyday people alike.
