Biography

Robert J. Penney was born in Lafayette, Indiana, in 1971, and was admitted to the Indiana bar in 2001, the Ohio bar in 2003 (inactive), and the Illinois bar in 2012. He is also admitted to practice in the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Mr. Penney attended the University of Illinois, Urbana, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in Political Science in 1993 and was made a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated with an M.A. in Political Science from UCLA in 1997, and obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 2001. He is also the founder of the Indiana University Law & Drama Society.
