Biography

Robert Laskowski has over 50 years of experience in business law and corporate finance. His principal practice areas involve all aspects of business and corporate law, with a special emphasis on federal and state securities law matters, involving the SEC, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and state securities administrators for issuers, broker-dealers and investment advisers. He represents development-stage, start-up and emerging businesses, as well as seasoned companies, in public and private equity and debt financings, venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, proxy solicitations, and SEC periodic reporting compliance. Clients have also been represented before federal and state regulatory agencies in securities law enforcement matters.

Mr. Laskowski was a staff attorney with the Division of Finance and Corporate Securities of the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services from 1973-1977 where he was responsible for the review of securities offerings; licensing and regulation of broker-dealers; the holding of administrative hearings; rule-making; policy development and legislative matters.

Mr. Laskowski speaks French and Polish.
