Biography

Robert joined Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP in 2023 and is an associate practicing primarily out of the Ithaca office. He maintains a diverse practice concentrated in the areas of litigation and real estate. Throughout his education and legal career, he has developed strong research and drafting skills that allow him to effectively handle any matter.

Prior to joining Coughlin and Gerhart, LLP, Robert reviewed and edited articles published in the St. John’s Law Review as a Senior Staff Member with a strong attention to detail. The detail-oriented awareness he developed during his two-years on St. John’s Law Review continues to carry over into his work and practice.

In 2021, Robert was selected for a summer internship with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York where he was involved with numerous court proceedings and learned to perceive cases from both on and off the bench.

Robert has experience working across a multi-faceted legal landscape including disputes involving real estate law, landlord-tenant law, municipal law, consumer law, construction law, personal injury, civil procedure, and appellate practice.
