Biography

Mr. Marcus represents injured workers, individuals and families in the areas of trucking accidents, motorcycle and auto accidents, and the Federal Employers’ Liability Act (FELA). Results matter: Mr. Marcus’ has obtained numerous multimillion-dollar awards for his clients. He has an extensive personal injury practice, and regularly represents victims and families involved in catastrophic accidents resulting in debiliating injuries, amputations, and wrongful death. No matter how devastating the accident is, Mr. Marcus prides himself on giving each client and family the personal attention they deserve. He is committed to providing dedicated and caring legal assistance to victims and families, and at the same time fighting the trucking companies, insurance companies, and railroads to ensure his clients are fully compensated.

He is recognized for his victory in the Supreme Court of the United States in protection of the Federal Employers’ Liability Act, on behalf of locomotive engineer Robert McBride. Mr. Marcus tried the case, which resulted in a $275,000.00 verdict. The McBride opinion solidifies the application of FELA in fully protecting railroad workers and making the railroads a safer place to work. Since its enactment in 1908, the FELA has served to protect railroad workers and their families from corporate negligence and unsafe industry practices. Mr. Marcus has tried cases in numerous jurisdictions and has recovered millions of dollars for his clients.
