Robert Plunkert is an attorney with Pitzer Snodgrass, practicing civil litigation. He earned his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology and History, with a minor in Philosophy, from Boston College in 2006. In 2009, he received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Saint Louis University School of Law, concentrating in Civil and Criminal Litigation Skills.
During his time at Saint Louis University, Bob was honored with the Saint Louis University Legal Services Award in 2008 and served as a SLU Law Journal Editor from 2008–2009. He was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2009 and the Illinois Bar in 2010. His licensure extends to the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri, the Central and Southern Districts of Illinois, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Eighth, Seventh, and Tenth Circuits, as well as the United States Supreme Court.
Robert began his career as an Associate at Brown and James, P.C., (2009–2012), before joining Pitzer Snodgrass, P.C. as an Associate (2012–2017). He has been a Principal at Pitzer Snodgrass, P.C. since 2018. His expertise and leadership have been pivotal to the firm’s success.
Active in professional associations, Bob serves as the Civil Rights Chair for The Harmonie Group and is a member of The Lawyers Association of St. Louis. His excellence in appellate advocacy was recognized with the David J. Dixon Appellate Advocacy Award in 2018.
