Biography

Robert W. Connolly is a partner at Costello, Cooney & Fearon. He started his career with the Firm in 1995.

Rob’s primary focus is in healthcare, with an emphasis on patients’ rights, decision-making and guardianships, and he provides direction for subpoena compliance and record requests. Rob is also well versed in operating regulations applicable to hospitals and healthcare practices, including the New York State Hospital Code, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH), and New York Mental Hygiene Law and regulations.

Rob has significant experience in estate litigation and in real estate partition matters. Rob has litigated a wide range of legal matters to a successful outcome, not only in health, estate and partition matters, but also in commercial litigation, ranging from contract disputes to construction claims. He has extensive trial experience with both jury and non-jury trials throughout the State of New York.

Prior to joining the Firm, Rob practiced for several years at the Federal level and currently stands as the Firm’s Healthcare Practice Group chair.
