Biography

Mr. Evenson is a co-founder of Evenson, Carlin & Cooper, LLC, with his brother, M. Roger Carlin, and has practiced at the same location since 1972.

He served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps from 1968 through 1972. He has engaged in the general practice of law, concentrating in the primary areas of amusement business law, commercial litigation, persona injury, products liability, criminal defense and estate planning.

He was admitted to practice before the following boards Supreme Court, State of Missouri, 1969; U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri; 1969, U.S. Court of Military Appeals; 1971; U.S. Supreme Court, 1982; U.S. Court of Appeals, 10th Circuit, 1986; U.S. Court of Appeals, 8th Circuit, 1988; U.S. Court of Appeals, 6th Circuit, 1988.

He served as President and Vice President of the Newton/McDonald County Bar Association; he has been a member of the Federal Bar Association; Missouri Bar Association; American Bar Association; Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
