Robert Ratish concentrates his practice in litigation. Prior
to joining Margolis Edelstein, he operated a solo practice handling litigation
and transactional matters for businesses in New Jersey and New York, as well as
serving as counsel for insurance defense matters including motor vehicle,
premises liability and subrogation cases. He also has extensive experience
arguing appellate matters. Prior to practicing law, he served as judicial clerk
to Hon. Edith K. Payne of the New Jersey Appellate Division. While in Law
School, Robert served as Editor in Chief of the Rutgers Computer and Technology
Law Journal. Before attending Law School, he worked as a Staff Writer for The
Record of North Jersey. In addition to his legal work, Robert has taught Media
Law and Ethics class as an adjunct professor at William Paterson University. He
has also served as past trustee and president of the Rutgers School of Law
Newark Alumni Association.
He is diligent in his dealings and knowledgeable in the law. He protected the client's interests. I recommend him.
