Biography

Robert Ratish concentrates his practice in litigation. Prior to joining Margolis Edelstein, he operated a solo practice handling litigation and transactional matters for businesses in New Jersey and New York, as well as serving as counsel for insurance defense matters including motor vehicle, premises liability and subrogation cases. He also has extensive experience arguing appellate matters. Prior to practicing law, he served as judicial clerk to Hon. Edith K. Payne of the New Jersey Appellate Division. While in Law School, Robert served as Editor in Chief of the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal. Before attending Law School, he worked as a Staff Writer for The Record of North Jersey. In addition to his legal work, Robert has taught Media Law and Ethics class as an adjunct professor at William Paterson University. He has also served as past trustee and president of the Rutgers School of Law Newark Alumni Association.
