Rod Mastandrea

Rod Mastandrea is a third-generation Cleveland attorney who has lived in the city for more than thirty years and brings a homegrown understanding to criminal defense across Northeast Ohio. A graduate of The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Political Science (Dean’s List), he earned his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2008. While in law school he served as a clerk/attorney at the Cuyahoga County Office, gained admission to the Ohio bar in 2009, and to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio in 2012. After practicing as an associate at Luftman Heck & Associates (2010–2011), he became managing partner of his own firm, representing clients across multiple municipalities and counties. With over a decade of criminal-law experience, Rod uses strategic, case-specific tactics and continued education—such as seminars with Alternative Horizons’ Driver Intervention Program—to secure the best outcomes. He earned Avvo Clients’ Choice recognition in 2015 and is a member of NACDL, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, CCDLA, and the Ohio Association of Magistrates.
