Rodney Bruce Evans

R. BRUCE EVANS is a partner at SSJ Law. With a diverse range of clients ranging from local businesses to international companies, Bruce’s practice is focused on Land Use and Zoning including Discretionary Approvals, Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) issues, Entertainment, Licensing, and Government Relations at the municipal and state level. Bruce also represents clients in Employment and Personal Injury matters. Bruce has been honored as a Rising Star® on numerous occasions and was profiled in Southern California’s Top Rated Lawyers®.

After graduating from the University of California Santa Barbara, Bruce received his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University in 2001.

He is licensed to practice law in California and has represented clients in both state and federal trial courts, the California Courts of Appeal, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

In his spare time, Bruce enjoys playing the guitar, hiking, and camping with his wife and kids, trail running, stand up paddle boarding, and surfing.
