Rodrigo Santamaria is a member of the corporate practice in Greenberg Traurig’s Mexico City office. He has experience advising on a variety of corporate and M&A transactions, including the acquisition of multiple companies, credit restructurings, the establishment of financial institutions, and compliance with requirements before various government authorities.

In the arbitration field, Rodrigo has represented clients in matters related to M&A transactions, port operations, and the hydrocarbons sector.

In addition, Rodrigo focuses his practice on regulatory, transactional, and compliance matters in the energy sector, with particular experience advising clients on legal requirements for the importation of hydrocarbons and regulatory procedures before the Ministry of Energy. He has supported both domestic and international clients in navigating complex entry and operational frameworks in the hydrocarbons market, ensuring full compliance with Mexican energy regulations.
