Biography

Mr. Fontela’s practice includes medical malpractice, personal injury litigation and administrative law, having represented clients throughout north and central Florida during his career.

He is admitted to practice before all Florida State courts. He is also admitted to federal practice in the Northern and Middle U.S. District Courts. He is a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and Claims & Litigation Management Alliance.

He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1992 after earning his law degree with high honors from the Florida State University College of Law. Prior to obtaining his law degree, he worked as a certified public accountant. He is fluent in Spanish.
