Roger J. Buffington

Roger Buffington is a trial attorney and the founder of Buffington Law Firm, PC, known for handling high-value trust, real estate, employment, and business disputes. He earned his law degree from USC Gould School of Law in 1997 and later completed an MBA at the USC Marshall School of Business. He is also a California Certified Public Accountant (inactive), and before focusing fully on litigation, he applied his MBA/CPA background while serving as an officer for major corporations in California and across the U.S. Mr. Buffington has acted as lead counsel in demanding trials and arbitrations, including a four-week Los Angeles Superior Court jury trial in 2017 involving corporate stock ownership valued at up to $100 million, where his client won on every claim and the plaintiff recovered nothing. He has been named to the Super Lawyers list each year from 2021–2025 and is frequently brought into cases at the recommendation of other attorneys. Corporations and universities have also repeatedly retained him as outside litigation counsel.
