Biography

Roman joined our firm in 2022 with a background and focus on tax law and estate planning. Roman works to ensure each client receives individualized attention and planning for their specific goals, and prides himself on thoroughness and attention to detail. Roman earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan, his Juris Doctor and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law, and is a member of the Tax Section of the South Carolina Bar. While in law school, Roman was Articles and Comments Editor of the International and Comparative Law Review, received CALI awards for Commercial Law and International Taxation, the Dean’s Book Award for Partnership Taxation, graduated cum laude, and received the Dean’s Scholarship for performance in the Tax LL.M. program.

Roman enjoys spending time with his two young boys and is an avid fan of University of Michigan football.
