From Peru to the United States, Romy Jurado's journey as an attorney has been fueled by a passion for diverse legal practice areas, including real estate, immigration, business, litigation, estate planning, and probate. Romy obtained her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law in 2011, fluent in English and Spanish, enabling comprehensive client communication. Romy honed her skills as a Federal judicial intern for the Honorable William M. Hoeveler, enriching her legal foundation. Professionally, she started at Marko & Magolnick, focusing on business law, and then advanced to McCalla Raymer, advocating for banks in the litigation sphere. Currently, as President of Cristina’s Academy and Vice President of the Peruvian American Chamber of Commerce, Romy champions educational access and business development. Acknowledged as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for eight years, her practice emphasizes client-focused results. She earned the titles of Best Residential Educator in 2019 and Best Educator in 2023—testaments to her dedication to the profession.

As the founder of Jurado & Associates, P.A., and author of the guide "Starting a Business in the United States as a Foreigner," Romy considers education pivotal and actively participates in speaking engagements to share knowledge.
