Ronald J. Russo

Ronald Russo's practice focuses on professionals, entrepreneurs, and high-income individuals. He consistently receives an AV® Martindale-Hubbell® rating, the highest possible, from peers and judges. Recognized by Best Lawyers® since 2006 and by Super Lawyers® since 2009, Ron has held positions on the Board of Directors, as Treasurer, and as President of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, where he also edited the Lawyer magazine. He earned an LLM in taxation, graduating first in his class, and a Juris Doctor, graduating cum laude, from the University of Florida, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. Ron has published in the University of Florida Law Review and received six American Jurisprudence awards. His practice covers complex family law matters, including dissolution, child custody, modification, enforcement, and appeals. He has represented clients such as Anheuser-Busch distributorship owners, New York Yankees members, and executives from Publix Supermarkets and Outback Steakhouse, as well as doctors, lawyers, judges, and professional athletes. Ron is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and a Master of the Family Law Inn of Court in Tampa Bay. He has authored and co-authored numerous legal publications and taught at the University of Florida Law School.
