Biography

Rosie began her law career in 2020 as an attorney with the Charleston office of South Carolina Legal Services. As the managing attorney over the Migrant unit, she gained experience and a wealth of knowledge in both federal and state immigration, labor, and employment law. Most recently, prior to joining the Derrick Law Firm, Rosie worked at a firm representing school districts across the state and continued to gain experience in different areas of law and became familiar with our state and federal litigation systems.

Raised in Goose Creek, South Carolina, Rosie stayed local and attended College of Charleston where she went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. Rosie also graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law. She has always been an avid music lover and grew up playing the guitar at her church. She is passionate about helping others and always strives to bring that passion when representing her clients.

Rosie’s practice is mainly focused on workers’ compensation where she is able to combine her past defense experience and her passion for helping others while representing injured workers across South Carolina.
