When I graduated from law school, I started my legal career working for a law firm that defended insurance companies and lawsuits filed against a major retailer. I quickly grew tired of watching big companies keep injured Kentuckians from getting the help they needed after an injury. After four years, I quit.
At Morgan, Collins, Yeast & Salyer, I’m the managing partner. I’ve been with the firm since 2000.
Roy’s Background, Awards and Honors
He’s a member of the American Association for Justice and the Kentucky Justice Association. Roy was a member of the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board from 2010 until 2015 when he resigned to accept an appointment as Master Commissioner of the Clay Circuit Court.
Outside the office, Roy enjoys spending time with his family and friends in the outdoors. His son and daughter, both young adults, help with wildlife improvement projects on the family farm. For these efforts, Roy received an award from the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife as “landowner of the year” for the Jackson Purchase District region.
