Rozita Taeidi: Attorney with Whitelaw-Twining

Biography

Rozita joined Whitelaw Twining as a summer student in 2019. She returned for her articles in 2020 and was called to the Bar in 2021. Rozita maintains a general insurance litigation practice, primarily consisting of personal injury, property damage, and subrogation matters. She has represented her clients before the Provincial and Supreme Courts in British Columbia. Rozita is known for being a tenacious advocate. Her attention to detail and persuasive legal writing and advocacy skills permit her to resolve matters for her clients in the most practical and efficient manner possible.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Rozita obtained a Social Work degree from the University of British Columbia. In 2021, she received her Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law at Thompson Rivers University. Rozita was placed on the Dean’s Honour List in her graduating year for ranking in the top 10% of her class, based on GPA. Rozita was also actively involved in contributing to the legal community through Pro Bono Students Canada, the UBC Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, and Vancouver’s Downtown Community Court. She continues to volunteer in the legal community whenever possible.

When not practicing law, Rozita enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle, exploring local cafes, and travelling.
