Biography

Rubi L. Brown joined Transcendent Law Group as a staff attorney in 2019. Previously, Rubi worked as an attorney on a variety of mass tort and complex litigation matters including mass toxic torts, asbestos litigation, products liability litigation, and medical malpractice.

Rubi gained district and appellate state court experience from her time as judicial law clerk for the Honorable Paula A. Brown at Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans and the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal. In those roles, Rubi managed cases, conducted research on complex civil matters at trial and on appeal, assisted in the preparation of opinions for civil matters on appeal, and reviewed and edited opinions authored by the Judge prior to their publications.

Furthermore, Rubi has gained experience teaching continuing legal education courses from the Louisiana State Bar Association, Alliance of Women’s Trial Lawyers and Southern University Law Center.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling — domestically and abroad — and trying new restaurants.
