Russell David Giancola

Russ Giancola is an experienced trial lawyer who has handled a wide variety of litigation matters for businesses and individuals. Russ focuses his practice on commercial litigation and election law.

Russ has worked with businesses in the construction, financial, healthcare, maritime, and telecom industries. He brings litigation experience in title and warranty claims, bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, breach of contract actions, insurance coverage, employment, and professional liability claims, and is experienced in conducting corporate and internal investigations. Russ also has significant successful appellate experience.

Russ’s election law practice includes representing local, state, and federal candidates and political committees. He has handled a variety of election disputes, including election contests, nomination objections, recounts, challenges regarding absentee and mail-in ballots, and redistricting and reapportionment litigation. He has also planned and participated in election day operations on behalf of numerous campaigns.

Prior to entering private practice, Russ served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Ronald W. Folino in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County.
