Russell began his academic pursuits at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2014. Furthering his dedication to the legal field, he obtained his paralegal certificate from Saint Francis University in 2015, laying the foundation for his future success.
In 2019, Russell proudly graduated with a Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law, solidifying his legal expertise. During his time at law school, Russell distinguished himself by working for the Civil Rights clinic, focusing on expungements and pardons, showcasing his commitment to social justice and community service. In 2018, Russell was awarded a Summer Fellowship with the Allegheny County Bar Foundation’s Pro Bono Center, highlighting his dedication to providing legal assistance to those in need.
Following his admission to the bar, Russell joined Very Law PLLC, where he honed his skills as a litigator across various legal fields. His passion for advocacy and helping those in need led him to Pittsburgh’s Neighborhood Legal Services in 2021. Here, Russell commenced his career in Social Security Disability Law, assisting indigent clients in obtaining SSDI/SSI benefits.
