Ryan D. Tilley, an accomplished legal professional, embarked on his
academic journey by earning a BA in History, graduating cum laude
from Washington College (MD). During his time at Washington College,
he not only excelled academically but also demonstrated leadership as
a four-year member and captain of the Men's Rugby Team, where he
gained international experience playing rugby in Ireland. Building on
this foundation, Mr. Tilley pursued and obtained his law degree from
the Drexel University Kline School of Law in 2016.
Throughout law
school, Mr. Tilley immersed himself in the legal field, working in
Philadelphia for a law firm specializing in securing life insurance
benefits for beneficiaries facing unjust denials from insurance
companies. Post-law school, he further honed his legal skills by
serving as a clerk for The Honorable Dennis E. Reinaker in the
Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas. Following this judicial
clerkship, Mr. Tilley assumed the role of an Assistant District
Attorney for the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office,
contributing to the pursuit of justice within the criminal justice
system.
Before joining
Pond Lehocky Giordano, Mr. Tilley's legal practice was centered on
workers' compensation defense for a prominent regional firm. In this
capacity, he navigated all facets of workers' compensation claims
across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, gaining comprehensive
experience at every level of the state's Workers' Compensation
system. Through this role, Mr. Tilley witnessed firsthand the unjust
treatment of injured workers by insurance companies and acquired
insider knowledge on the tactics employed to the detriment of those
seeking rightful compensation.
In 2023, Mr.
Tilley brought his wealth of experience and commitment to justice to
Pond Lehocky Giordano. Focusing exclusively on workers' compensation,
he dedicates his practice to safeguarding the rights of injured
workers and confronting insurance companies on their behalf. Mr.
Tilley's unwavering dedication to this cause underscores his
commitment to ensuring fair treatment and justice for those
navigating the complexities of workers' compensation in Pennsylvania.
