Biography

Ryan Willen focuses his practice on civil litigation, sports law, workers’ compensation defense litigation, and business and real estate matters. As an associate in the workers’ compensation group, Ryan regularly defends and advises employers on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters.

Before practicing law, Ryan worked in athletics as both an athlete and a coach. He served as the head coach for Israel’s Junior National Team in European Championships. This experience provides Ryan with a unique perspective to understand, evaluate, and address the issues facing athletes, parents, and athletic organizations.

In addition to his work in sports law and workers’ compensation, Ryan provides legal counsel to small business owners and their executives. He also assists the attorneys who lead the firm’s municipal law practice.
