Biography

Ryan Kinney is the newest associate at HPK, having just come aboard in 2022. While he grew up in a traveling military family, he has lived in the Treasure Valley most of his life. He graduated from Cole Valley Christian High School in Meridian, ID before attending Boise State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. After graduation, Ryan began working in the criminal justice system for the State of Idaho. He started as a correctional officer before quickly moving on to Probation and Parole, where he dealt with high-risk parolee reentry and domestic violence caseloads. While he enjoyed his 5-year career in law enforcement, Ryan always wanted to be a lawyer. He graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law with honors in 2021 and was admitted to the Idaho State Bar in September of that same year. After working in civil litigation, he moved onto the area of law that always interested him most: family law.

Ryan is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Idaho and the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts of Idaho. He is excited to hit the ground running and learn from the established, experienced family law litigators at Hardee, Pinol and Kracke, PLLC.
