Biography

Ryan is a member of Marshall Dennehey's Professional Liability Department where he concentrates his practice on the defense of professionals in malpractice claims filed against them involving negligence or misconduct.

With 15 years of litigation experience, Ryan has successfully represented clients in a wide variety of legal matters, including professional malpractice, employment, bodily injury, property damage, and premises and product liability cases.

Ryan is uniquely qualified to understand the intricacies of insurance defense litigation matters. Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, he served as an associate at a Pittsburgh-based civil defense litigation firm representing businesses and individuals across a broad spectrum of insurance defense matters.

During law school, Ryan served as Managing Editor of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review. He also received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Constitutional Law, Insurance Law, and Health Law & Policy, and he and served as a volunteer with the Health Law Clinic.
