Biography

Ryan graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 2020. He was a law clerk at Ford, Parshall & Baker during his time in law school. Prior to law school, he attended the University of Missouri for his undergraduate degree where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Ryan’s legal experience is focused on litigation in representing individuals and businesses throughout Missouri in both state and federal courts. The bulk of his cases consist of defending medical negligence matters asserted against health care providers; however, Ryan also defends litigants in a diverse collection of insurance defense matters, including general tort liability and wrongful death cases. Ryan’s practice regularly requires fact investigation, pleadings generation, discovery preparation and response, motion practice, oral argument, trial preparation, and court appearances. He routinely researches and interprets state and federal law to provide opinions evaluating diverse legal issues pertaining to the defense of his clients.

Ryan joined Ford, Parshall & Baker in July 2014. He is a lifelong Missouri resident and has lived in Columbia since 2014. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys supporting Mizzou sports, hunting, and hiking with his dog.
