Biography

Ryan Bauerle is skilled in litigation and negotiation, which is how he regularly obtains favorable settlements without ever stepping foot in the courthouse. Ryan brings extensive experience and sincere compassion to situations involving contested child custody, special needs, mental health issues, and substance abuse. With a focus on all aspects of divorce, including divorce for fathers, he has a successful record in advocating for co-parenting rights and securing equal child custody time or unique possession arrangements.

Ryan has experience handling high-conflict personalities, pre-and post-marital agreements, creative and unique parenting plans, custody modification and enforcement, and adoptions. Whether it’s a high-net-worth divorce or a contested custody case, Ryan has the skills, experience, and knowledge to help clients meet their needs.

Ryan is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Family Law. He is a respected fellow of both the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the International Academy of Family Lawyers. Ryan has been named one of D Magazine’s Best Lawyers Under 40 in 2025, and is consistently recognized by Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America. Trained in Collaborative Divorce, Ryan is a fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and actively participates in various leadership roles within state and local bar associations. He was also chosen to serve on the Super Lawyers Blue Ribbon Panel, an honor awarded to top-rated attorneys who evaluate peers within their practice area.

Ryan Bauerle is a highly respected Texas divorce lawyer working out of GBA’s Plano family law office. He serves clients throughout Collin and Denton counties, including Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Prosper, Celina, and Lucas.

Away from his practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Laura, and their three children. He loves adventure, travel, and scuba diving, and is an active hockey enthusiast who both plays and coaches his son’s hockey team.
